Fruit platter from a recent Under the Sea themed kids party 🐚🧜🏼‍♀️🌊

We were obsessed with all the little details on this one. The carved starfish watermelon, mermaid tails, and tiny conch shells made it such a fun setup for the kids.

We also made homemade chicken strips, nuggets, and fries for the party… which we somehow forgot to photograph before service.

One thing our client mentioned after was that they expected typical “freezer section” party food and honestly, that’s exactly why Northwest Private Dining exists.

We don’t believe kids’ food has to mean low effort food.

At Northwest Private Dining & Events, 99% of what we serve is made from scratch, and the remaining 1% is carefully sourced from people who put the same level of care into their products that we do. Our produce is sourced from local farms whenever possible or 100% organic.

When we started this business 6 years ago, it was because we saw too many companies cutting corners and treating catering like quantity mattered more than quality. We wanted to create something different.

If someone is investing in a catered experience, the food should reflect that no matter the age group or event size. We take a lot of pride in the effort, quality, and creativity we bring to every single client we serve 🤍

In our career path we truly are never off the clock. Whether we are traveling for inspiration of new recipes, coming up with our own flavor inventions or feeding our little army we are always in the kitchen or eating food. This week our kitchen got to relocate to the beautiful Nature Oregon provides and we enjoyed a wonderful feast on the fire. Wouldn’t be a feast without sweets and we’ve been dabbling with healthier desserts so we made some scratch made healthy “Samoas” & High Protein Strawberries Cheescake Cups to pack❤️. If you love a good fire roasted meal never hesitate to ask us to help feed your group whether camping or just enjoying a nice picnic day we’re always here to meet your hunger needs!

We know we’ve been a little ghost lately… and for the sweetest reason. ❤️

Behind the scenes, our family has been busy welcoming our newest little “chef” to the team our precious new baby. Between newborn snuggles, sleepless nights, and soaking in these moments, we’ve taken some much needed time to focus on the heart of why we do all of this in the first place: our family.

To every single person who has supported our small business, shared our page, placed an order, or simply cheered us on thank you! Your support means so much more than helping our business grow. You’ve helped give our family something truly priceless: the ability to be present.

For our family, this business is more than just work. It allows us the flexibility to be home, to pour into our children, and to give our son the extra love, support, and care he needs as he navigates life with autism. Being able to create this life, one where we can provide for our family while also being there for the moments that matter most to us is something we never take for granted.

Because of you, we are able to build not just a business, but a life centered around our children, their needs, and their happiness.

Thank you for giving us grace during this beautiful, chaotic season of life. Thank you for supporting our dream, our family, and our why.

We’re beyond grateful! We’re officially back next month,bigger, busier, and now with one extra tiny chef in our family. 👶✨We can’t wait to return to what we do best this wedding season with all of you❤️
