Half Penny’s roots started in Dublin, Ireland when local owner-operator Monty Miller was traveling abroad as an adventurous
20- something and ran out of money. He walked the 141 foot span of the
Ha’penny Bridge over the River Liffey every day
to his first bartending gig . After returning to Salem, he continued his
career in the industry for over 20 years before
bringing his history full circle and

opening his namesake in 2009

Our goal is for everyone who check s us out the
