The brewery currently produces a wide variety of specialty beers as well as an established series of mainline beers. The following is an overview of the current and in production beers. Mainline
Primal Pale Ale: A golden, dry, slightly hoppy pale ale. Notes of pine and citrus in the aroma, earthy middle, clean finish. 28 IBU’s, 5.00% abv. Pairs perfectly with your favorite fish, shrimp, crab or lightly spiced dish. Available in: 12 oz bottles, ½ barrel keg, 1/6 barrel keg
Exile ESB: Light amber in color, assertively hopped but well balanced. Fruity and aromatic, generously dry hopped with Cascades and East Kent Goldings.
48 IBU’s, 5.8% abv. Brewed to pair with that big fatty steak or spicy dish. Available in: 12 oz bottles, ½ barrel keg, 1/6 barrel keg
Lucky 7 Porter: Black with garnet highlights, this porter is rich and full flavored with notes of chocolate, coffee & smoke playing off the sweeter toffee & dark dried fruit tones. 24 IBU’s, 5.7% abv. Try this one with some smoked bbq or chocolate dessert
Available in: 12 oz bottles, ½ barrel keg, 1/6 barrel keg
Lot #3 India Pale Ale: This American style IPA is aggressively hopped at a rate of over 2 pounds per barrel. Big notes of citrus and pine complement a reserved but firm malt backbone. 65 IBU’s, 6.8% abv. Available in: 12 oz bottles, ½ barrel keg, 1/6 barrel keg
Rise Up Stout: A Caribbean style stout infused with coffee. The Caribbean style is synonymous with strong full bodied stouts. Ours is rich and dark with a toasted brown head, well balanced, roasty and full flavored. Cold steeping with an organic coffee, from Rise Up, imparts a generous but balanced coffee nose and flavor. 40 IBU’s, 6.7% abv. Available in: ½ barrel keg, 1/6 barrel keg
Big Draft Series
Lot #6 Double IPA: Think of this as our Lot #3 on performance-enhancing malt and hops. At 9.3%abv, this beer is loaded with tropical fruit and citrus notes. Deep gold in color, massive additions of American varietals of hops generate assertive bitterness and big hop flavor and aroma. Dangerously drinkable for such a big beer. Malt: Pilsner, Carapils, Crystal
Hops: Cascade, Amarillo, Chinook, Crystal, Columbus
Original Gravity: 21.0 degrees Plato
Haymaker: This deep copper Ale is unfiltered, full flavored and robust. An extended boil generated intense caramel notes, offset by an assertive hop bitterness. Raisin and dried cherry notes blend with shades of mild tropical fruit lead to biscuit-like, slightly bitter finish. 55 IBU’s, 7.8% abv. Original Gravity: 17.8 degrees Plato
Seasonal
Jacques Au Lantern: Our fall seasonal is an amber ale brewed with pumpkin and spices. We add roasted pumpkin to the mash and traditional pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, clove and mace) to the kettle to generate the classic “pumpkin ale” flavors. We then ferment with a Belgian strain of yeast which accentuates the spices already added to the beer. Served unfiltered, the result is a unique twist on the classic pumpkin ale, blending the expected, traditional flavors with unexpected depth of character. 6.3% abv. Malt: Pilsner, Pale, Caramunich, Honey, Aromatic
Hops: Hallertau Hersbrucker
Original Gravity: 15.6 degrees Plato
Summer Session Ale: Summer session Ale is a light refreshing unfiltered ale brewed with Barley, Oats, Rye, and wheat for a subtle complexity. A reserved hop bitterness and aroma balance the lightly sweet grain character. 25 IBU’s, 4.6% abv. Original Gravity: 11.5 degrees Plato
Sprung: Our spring seasonal is a refreshing light to medium bodied golden ale. Brewed with honey, hibiscus and chamomile, fruity subtleties abound despite the accessible easy drinking nature of this beer. Honey imparts a subtle floral note as well as a touch of sweetness. Chamomile contributes a sweet aroma as well as complex fruit notes, and the hibiscus balances with an understated slightly tart rosey flavor. 4.9% abv. Hops: Hallertauer
Original Gravity: 11.6 degrees Plato
Winter Secret Spot: A malty ale with Noble hop flavor. A Sticke (secret) style Ale from Dusseldorf. Inspired by the altbiers. Barrel Aged
Winter Migration: A dark strong Ale aged for 8 months in a Bourbon Oak Barrel. 10.5 abv. 750 ml limited bottle release
Spring Migration: currently aging in Rum Oak Barrels
Summer Migration: currently aging in Wine Oak Barrels
Additionally, the Brewery has made specialty firkins of small batch beers. These are used at high profile events, in bar promotions or for special promotions. A firkin is an individual cask the size of a quarter of a barrel.
