What truly happens when you give someone power?
It doesn’t change who they are; it strips away the mask and reveals who they’ve been all along.
Adversity tests our resilience, but authority tests our soul. In the quiet moments of climbing the ladder, kindness is easy when you still need allies. But the second the title is won, the keys are handed over, and accountability fades into the background, the truth speaks.
Do they build walls to protect their ego, or do they build longer tables to lift others up?
Real power isn’t about commanding a room—it is about having the strength to listen. It is about using your influence to defend the overlooked, mentor the uncertain, and lead with empathy when arrogance would be effortless. The greatest leaders don’t crave control; they carry responsibility as a sacred trust.
If you want to build an organization where empathy outshines ego and influence elevates everyone, the journey begins with what we value at the top.
