Earl Abels to Close Broadway Location

Earl Abel’s with three locations in San Antonio will be closing its Broadway Location next to the Pearl on 21st of August.

Danny Badiola the managing partner and operator issued this statement today with acknowledgements that lingering Covid impact, current staffing and inflation hardships negatively impacts operations viability to remain open. The partnership will be seeking other Broadway-Alamo Heights sites. The past 90 years have been very eventful and rewarding but new location and partnership arrangements are also needed. That effort will be ongoing in the coming months.

Earl Abel’s fans should give watch to upcoming store closing specials.

Oh MY so yummy!
When you walk in there is a refrigerator full of your dream desserts. Eclairs, cream puffs, banana cream pie and so many other pies you heart skips a beat. That's all to go home with US PLEASE! Tiffany was the best waitress! Even if she encouraged one of everything and I ate one of everything
We dropped in after the Pearl Farmers Market for some of San Antonios famous Chicken.
Mine did NOT disappoint. I love chicken avocado bacon sandwiches. This one was fried which was new for me, Oh honey, this was the BEST fried chicken ever. My husband was taking pieces. It melted in my mouth it was so good. I loved it! He Loved it! We loved it. Mind you he ate his own meal of something, I took pictures. Mine was too dreamy too care.
Someone had chicken and waffles and I tried a biscuit that I wished I had in my hand right now for breakfast. It was that good. Nothing was leftover. We will be back and Tiffany our waitress was fantastic.
The restaurant was spotless, everything was made in the kitchen, even the bun on my sandwich was made in house. Please go and stop in at this amazing food sanctuary in San Antoino. You won't regret it!
