We wanted to give everyone an update on Justin’s condition.
He is officially out of surgery, his third surgery in less than a week, and the doctors were able to repair the issues with his bowels. We are incredibly thankful for that answered prayer and for the amazing medical team caring for him.
Right now, he is still considered in critical condition. His kidneys are struggling, and there are still several concerns the doctors are closely monitoring. To help his body heal, they are keeping him sedated and paralyzed for the next 3–5 days because his abdomen is extremely weak, and even too much strain from breathing or movement could cause complications.
This has all happened very suddenly, and our family is trying to take things one hour at a time. As many of you know, he works tirelessly running his food truck here in San Antonio, and with him unable to work and my mom staying by his side at the hospital, things are becoming financially overwhelming.
We’ve created a GoFundMe to help with medical expenses, bills, and supporting our family during his recovery. If you’re able to donate, share, or simply keep praying for him, we would be deeply grateful.
Thank you to everyone who has checked in, prayed, sent messages, and shown love to our family. We truly feel the support and are holding onto faith that he will continue fighting and healing day by day.
