Calling out all car lovers! This month our paired dinner honors two great pioneers: Ford and Ferrari. I read the menu and I hear the roar of the Ferrari Enzo engine but at the same time I remember the 1967 Lotus Ford Cosworth. If in the US, in 1955, you could cruise. On the Thunderbird listening to rock around the clock, Ferrari was working on the 250 Testarossa that came out in 1957 when people were falling in love at the sound of Only You… epic cars, epic times and epic dinner on March 30th to celebrate both. Great dinner last night at Pronto prepared by chef Adriano: scallop in lemon juice, oysters from Pacific Northwest with two unexpected sauces, amazingly fresh and flavorful farmer salad made with local production, scallop, shrimp, lobster ravioli in a bagna cauda sauce, puffy fritters with a chocolate and strawberry sauce. All of this with a nice selection of Italian wines. Can't wait for next month!
