Happy National Donut Day 🍩

Did you know Denny’s actually started as a tiny Lakewood donut shop called Danny’s Donuts? Opened in 1954 by Harold Butler and Richard Jezak, Danny’s Donuts began as a 900-square-foot coffee and donut spot at Bellflower & Del Amo. It became a local hit, expanded fast, transformed into Danny’s Coffee Shop, and by 1961 officially became Denny’s Coffee Shop became Denny’s. The rest is history!
