Got the day started at Waterfront in San Diego’s Little Italy. The oldest tavern in San Diego. They’ve been open since 1933 and I saw online that they have “arguably” one of the best breakfast burritos in town. Everyone’s opinions are different. I only had one other burrito while I was out here, and it’s hard to say which was better. They were both phenomenal.
The vibes in here are great. It’s got that real old world tavern feel. Low ceilings, divey, good prices, lots of beers and way above average bar food (from what I was told). By how good the burrito and the french toast were, I feel like I have to believe em. Next time I’m in town I’ll probably stop here later in the day for a burger and some apps, a few beers and a good time. I loved it here. If I had to take a number two, I’d probably go else where. The bathroom is super divey and old school. There no door 🤣 Thank you Waterfront Grill.
