For those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s, it feels like we literally grew up right alongside Stephanie Tanner! From the adorable little girl with the missing front teeth trying to keep up with her older sister, to the confident and resilient woman she is today, Jodie Sweetin has always felt like family.

She brought us endless laughs, iconic catchphrases, and some truly touching moments as the middle child of the Tanner household. Looking at her then and now, it’s amazing to see that through all the different chapters of her life, she kept that exact same infectious, joyful smile!

If you grew up in the 80s and 90s, D.J. Tanner was the relatable big sister we all wanted! 👱‍♀️✨

For eight seasons, Candace Cameron Bure perfectly captured the awkward, funny, and heartwarming moments of growing up as the eldest Tanner sister. But did you know that her Full House family actually changed her real life forever?

In 1994, Dave Coulier (the hilarious Uncle Joey) was playing in a charity hockey game. He invited the Full House cast to watch, and it was there that Dave introduced 19-year-old Candace to a professional hockey player named Valeri Bure. It was love at first sight! They got married in 1996 and are still happily together today with three children. Uncle Joey is literally the reason she met her husband! 🏒❤️

After Full House, Candace took a long break from acting to focus on raising her family. When she finally returned to television, she completely took over the holiday season, starring in dozens of movies and earning the title of the "Queen of Christmas." 🎄

And of course, she brought all that boss-lady energy right back to the iconic Tanner house when she returned to lead the cast of Fuller House!

When the cameras stopped rolling in 1995, transitioning back to a "normal" life was incredibly difficult for Jodie Sweetin. From childhood through her early teens, her entire identity was wrapped up in being Stephanie Tanner.

Once the show wrapped, she faced a severe identity crisis that led to some incredibly dark years and intense personal struggles. For a long time, many assumed her acting career was over for good. But as we all know, a true comeback was just around the corner! ✨
