Dear friends and The Red Bar family,

This is the last picture I took with Duke Bardwell, in May or June 2026.

He went to be with the Lord yesterday, passing peacefully at home, surrounded by his beloved family and his son TK in the picture here with us.

He was very generous to The Red Bar and to me personally, when we opened on Super Bowl Sunday 1995 he was there with Franco “ washboard “Jackson and Potter Brown musician of the highest caliber who are now reunited in heaven.

We love the Duke and he loved us. We will always be grateful for the friendship, the music and the heart he shared with us.

If You got some good pictures or you wanna leave a kind word. Please do.

So long, Duke
❤️

If anyone knows the wonderful people that came out of nowhere to chop off the trees withBic Mitchum and I around
11 PM on Wednesday, we would like to invite them to dinner.

We are grateful to have come through the storm and we are thankful for this community we call home ❤️
Our thoughts are with everyone dealing with damages and the difficult days ahead.

Take care of yourselves, check on your neighbors and know that we appreciate you. We are ready to open as soon as the power comes back on.

Redbar family.
