Water heater, shop update… why was this so difficult?

Plus I dyed my hair (stress-induced mania)

Stay tuned for the next road block 😍

Salted Honey Latte is a staple on my menu these days 🥰

Try it at the Windsor Certified Farmers Market every Sunday (we bring the trailer!) or in our Santa Rosa cafe, opening soon 🤞🏻

Do you know how much an espresso machine costs new?

I was SO EXCITED to find this Bezzera B2013 espresso machine for $800 (and local too!!)

I didn’t really inspect it and just bought it hoping it would be fine enough. She’s hella neglected and dirty but still functional.

This came from a local cafe and saw a ton of use. Apparently not a ton of cleaning 🤔

PSA: cleaning an espresso machine is not hard but it is more than just wiping down the exterior!

The pieces that I replaced here all come into contact with the espresso that you serve to customers or drink yourself. They’re all easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance, and the shower screens, screws, and gaskets cost like $10 to replace. Take care of these machines and they’ll last you 20+ years, easily.

I just love people.

I love doing the
Windsor Certified Farmers Market every week and seeing all my regulars and vendor friends.

I can’t wait to open our cafe and fill it with people, with our stories, with our neighbors.
The people are what make a coffee shop.

Full transparency… I didn’t budget for this one 😭

I HATE asking for anything (especially money) but this is the one thing I didn’t foresee needing to pay a bunch of money for (because tbh I thought this would be a landlord thing… but ok)

A $5000 goal.
One pregnant coffee lady.
$3.45 currently in the bank.

Stay tuned for all the creative ways I plan to come up with the extra funds!

I’m finally doing it and I’m SO excited for this!!

Come hang out with me THIS THURSDAY 10/1 10-11:30 for a guided coffee tasting workshop at my (almost finished) cafe space. I’ll have several coffees for you to taste and I’ll walk you through how we “cup” for coffee quality and comparison.

Let me share my knowledge of coffee origins, varietals, processes, and much more. I’ll even let you take home a bag of beans for later 😘
