What is the deal with these "every year" birthdays? Seriously, they happen every year? It just seems like 10 years ago Doug celebrated his 30th, about 8 years ago was his 40th and maybe 3 years ago his 50th?! OMG...ok, thanks for the therapy session. Thanks also to ALL the people who came out to celebrate this scary one. Thanks to all the people who helped set up, take down and most importantly, sang like their lives depended on it. Thanks for all the gifts and well wishes! Epic night once again.

Well...that was a Good Friday....night! We almost sang until Easter. Should have probably taped the whole night..can you imagine how this sounded with rocks stars, choir stars, choir/band teachers? OMG...it was like having a grammy's show.

Ok...I guess some of these famous people really do read their social media things?!! Just made a comment to this 11 time Grammy Award winning artist after watching her sing karoake with someone...holy sh*t...she actually read it and replied? OMG...what if she actually showed up and sang at Sunset's?!! Ok, we have to start practicing everyone...this is getting serious. I'm going to have buy a new shirt and lose 10 pounds just in case she shows up?!!!🤞

We tried an experiment last night. We wanted to see if this karaoke system works with people 30 years old and under. It was under stress not playing Barry Manilow and Little River Band..but it held. Super fun night. I haven't heard that much rapping since Christmas time. Still don't get that style...but glad others like it.

2026 "Man's Film Festival". Will Ferrell movies were the theme. Super fun time with a bunch of bottom feeding men. Shout out to Ryan who dressed as Ron Burgundy. The ONLY reason you didn't get first place was we were all in shock and awe over Matt's jock strap on his head. He was committed to that ALL DAY..12 hours of a jock strap on your head?! You're my boy Blue!

So, in honor of "Dry January" we took the morning off from drinking and turned Sunset's into "Bottles and Blankets". Kari and Debby used sharp instruments, soft yarn, FIRE and fingers to make these amazing blankets. We'd like to thank Debby for her help and skills. Don't worry, we've already started happy hour this afternoon!
