Hey Savanna family, just keeping it real with you all tonight. 🍕

We had a bit of a mix-up last-night. An order was called an hour before closing, but no one ever arrived to pick it up. After our team made multiple calls to the number provided, we finally reached the customer on our cell phone. It turns out they accidentally called our Savanna location instead of a neighboring location, and they lived too far away to make the drive.

Since it was too late to offer the food to anyone else at a discount, we took this one on the chin. (On the bright side, our hardworking team got some extra to take home—you can see the spread in the attached photo!)

This is the second time in 10 days an unpaid phone order was left unpaid. Naturally, our initial reaction was to start requiring prepayment for EVERY call-in, not just the $50 and above. But after thinking about it, Ben and I realized that’s not who we are.

One of the better parts of owning a business in our small town is the convenience and service we can provide to you. Taking payments over the phone is a hassle for both you and our team members, and it just doesn't align with the old-school customer service we believe in. We aren't ready to pass that burden onto you.

Eating costs is sometimes just part of operating a business, but we wanted to be transparent with our trusted customers about the challenges we occasionally face. We are going to keep trusting you, because your loyalty means everything to us. We just kindly ask that you double-check the location you're calling before placing your order!
