I have fought in two wars and been around the world but my first job really shaped me and my kids love the stories. I was 12 Years old working at a family Irish Pub & Grill in Stamford, CT called "Brennan's"- It was there that I fell in love with the cozy, warm, SNUG, just all around good feeling place, that brought so much laughter, to so many good people. Brennan's was a home away from home fo
r me, and still is to this day. After coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan It would be the first of two stops made back home. Brennan's for a Beer with family and friends and Colony for a Bar Pie. The World Famous BAR PIE was invented right around the corner from where I grew up in a place called Colony Bar and Grill. Colony was quite the watering hole for the Irish since 1935. In the 1940's, it was a place for so many who had made it home from the war to gather and enjoy Good Times Once Again. My grandfather, an Irishman, who served in WWII at 17 years old and was shot on his 18th Birthday; was one of the first Marines who stormed the beaches of Iwo Jima. He and many like him found comfort within the 4 walls of a cozy, warm, snug, Irish Pub. Surrounded by friends, music, and the perfect distraction from all of life's troubles, "The Simple Things in Life" Pizza and Beer in your home away from home. I have created business in the past and they have all been successful. The recipe for my success has been my passion for each vision. This will be no different.
