Currently we offer coffee, tea, and lemonade. Fresh Start Coffee came about because of difficult circumstances, requiring difficult choices. We did not agree with the lawlessness of Washington state, so our two families decided to make the decision to move across the country to the South where more people held our values of God, family, and country. We are committed to delivering the fastest and f

riendliest service and using only the finest ingredients. We are excited to bring Pacific Northwest coffee culture to Hardin and McNairy counties. We put our hands to work and find that God's mercies are indeed still new every single morning. Today is the day he has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it! We do not despise this day of small beginnings. We have just begun our journey to find our valued customers the finest ingredients possible. We see a mobile coffee trailer filled with organic, non-gmo, non-bioengineered, local, and health forward products. Check our menu regularly as products will continue to expand as our business grows. My name is Michael, and I am co-owner of Fresh Start coffee. I have years of experience working coffee including being a manager at Starbucks and Dutch Bros. Serving the best coffee for my community brings me great satisfaction. I look forward to connecting. Nikkoly is my mother-in-law and co-owner. She is a self-proclaimed coffee aficionado. She is using her experience as a Biofeedback and Detoxification Specialist to guide her in developing delicious, restorative, and healthy beverages. In honor of EMS Week we wanted to give a special shout-out to a lost customer, husband, friend and father who dedicated his life to the Hardin County Community.
His personal favorite drink was our Caramel Brown Sugar Latte

Joey Crumby passed in December of 2025 and we miss him dearly. He gave 37 years to Hardin County as a paramedic and was one of the very first Fresh Start Coffee customers.
The very first time Michael met him, Joey was quick to point out that he "knew Michael was a good guy based solely on the fact he was carrying that day." The two hit it off quickly and always enjoyed good conversation.

Something that has always been important to us here at Fresh Start is community, which is something we know Joey believed in as well. Joey is just one example of someone who helped us grow to where we are today and it's a blessing we don't take lightly.

Thank you Joey for your years of service. Thank you for always putting a smile on our faces when you came through. Thank you for being a kind, thoughtful and considerate man. Thank you for being one of the very first to give us a shot at starting up a new business in this little town in Tennessee. Prayers go out to Joey's family today and always. Rest in peace dear friend. You are loved and missed.
