Friday night, January 31, is our last night for Scooter's Restaurant and the dance to be open. The Restaurant has a special for the last night. Buy a 12 oz. Rib Eye steak and get 4 Butterfly Shrimp free. Come out and see us one more time.

With mixed emotions, Leon and I would like to announce that we are shutting down Scooters Restaurant and Dance after Friday night, January 31st. We would like to thank all of our faithful customers, some already know and have expressed disappointment at our closing. just to mention a few who came to eat on a regular basis, LaShawn and Jimmy Tanner, Jackie and Vince Smith, Lucy and Richard Spears, Lisa and David Snoddy, Charlotte Webb and Daren Wright and others that I can't remember their full names. Then those who faithfully came to the dance most every week. We will miss seeing all of you. We want to especially thank our faithful friend Donna Harville who has been there from the beginning. A better or more faithful friend could never be found. We want to thank others who pitched in when they could, Fern Owens, Greg Kilburn, and Eddie Harville. Also, thanks to Wendy Murphy who did a great job as fry cook and all around helper to Leon. Come by and see us before we close.

Bundle up and come out to Scooters tonight for the seafood buffet, a great tasting steak or one of the other good food choices on the menu. Our fresh salad bar brings lots of compliments with homemade Ranch and Thousand Island dressing. Other dressings offered also. Leon makes some of the best hush puppies you will ever eat.

We look forward to serving you a delicious meal Thanksgiving Day. We plan to have plenty of food to feed everyone who comes. It’s $13.99 for adults, Children 8 and under eat for 1/2 price and toddlers for free. We will have plenty of room, not only in the main dinning area but in the gym and overflow room. Don’t forget Mom.
