The barista and the “bird-ista”…

Earlier this week, this little bird spent over an hour hanging out under the hood of one of our customers' cars. We think he was trying to find his way into an interview to become our newest "Bird-ista!" ☕️🪶

Thankfully, one of our amazing team members stepped in and helped safely free our feathered friend!

No injuries, just a little adventure—and after a quick wellness check, he spread his wings and flew away.

We're taking his quick departure as a polite way of saying he found a better nest opportunity elsewhere. 🫶🏼

The Wausau Chess Club visits every Thursday from 1pm - 3pm at our cafe too!!

If you’re looking for a new hobby, filling time, or just want to observe, everyone is welcome to join (all ages, all experiences)!

Typically, the team comes in around 12pm - 12:30pm to grab a bit to eat or drink to fuel up before the game, so this would be the perfect time to meet and learn more about the club. If you have any questions or want to know more, please reach out to the Wausau Chess Club ✨

🌽 Served on a bed of mixed spring greens is tomato, red onion, cilantro, chicken, lime, avocado, fire roasted sweet corn, cotija, and a homemade Tajin dressing!

WOOOWWWW!!

To our community who showed up today, just wow!

Thank you, we couldn’t be here without you! 🫶🏼

This was a glimpse of 30 minutes of today shown in 20 seconds… while more and more of you kept showing up for 2.5 more hours at this rate❤️ There were lines to the door several times, chairs were packed (including our patio seating), and some even stood to wait for their orders so others could sit.

This was rush was not anticipated, so we sincerely apologize if your wait was a little longer than usual. Thank you for all of your patience! If something was not done right, please reach to us directly so we can make it right 🙏🏼
