If you would’ve told us a few months ago that our little family business would be serving drinks at the West Virginia State Capitol for four straight days during the 250th Anniversary Celebration, we probably would’ve laughed and asked if you had the right people.

But somehow… here we are.

This weekend stretched us in every way possible. It was unbelievably hot, we were absolutely slammed, and by the end of each day we were running on caffeine, adrenaline, and pure determination. 😅

What a lot of people don’t see is that Caffeine & Chaos really is just the four of us—me (Courtney), Abby, Jason, and Brent. Every drink, every bag of ice, every restock, every dish, every customer… it was all us. From the moment we opened until we finally locked up each night, we worked side by side, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better team.

We also couldn’t have done it without my mom and sister, who loved on our kiddos so we could chase this dream. And a huge shoutout to the amazing Eli Brogan at Herc Rentals for getting us giant misting fans. Those fans were an absolute lifesaver, and I don’t think we would’ve survived those 100° days without them!

Most of all, thank YOU. Whether you stood in line, came back for another drink, shared a post, told a friend about us, or simply cheered us on from afar… thank you for believing in our little business.

We are beyond grateful… and after a very long nap, we’ll be ready to do it all again. ❤️☕🥤
