Due to A-hole thieves, Sugar Bummm (like so many other businesses now) will not accept or hold cash. (Until I decide otherwise)
Some of you know we have had a pretty intense and awful couple of years of unfortunate events and recently a really oddly ridiculous month. It only made sense for us to get broken into. 🥴🫩 I needed a kick in the pants to replace that old ugly door anyway.
* If you saw anything, please let me and/or the PD know.

Good news, I got a new door that looks less old busted buick, and more blank canvass. I'm going to take a little bit of time to make some changes and to try and recover a little bit from this awful couple of years.

That being said, this is still a small business that needs to survive 🩷

*I will still be accepting new customers that bring me joy, and taking custom and bulk orders.

What I won't be doing right now is stressing out about being at the restaurant everyday and trying to keep up with larger businesses or unlicensed businesses (who can afford to undercut small businesses).

Neighborhood talk-

"Sugar Bummm got swatted. Sugar Bummm got raided. Sugar Bummm is closing/going out of business and has been closed."

*We did not get raided 😂 I hear it did look alarming because cops had their guns out etc. but that's because they had to "clear" the space because I wasn't there. You know, make sure the bad guys were gone. 😏 Smack in the middle of the day with neighbors everywhere.

Yes, we have been closed during the day a lot but I have continued to work with my repeat customers and on custom and special orders. Currently, time and my body will only allow me to do so much work and to be at so many places at one time. I'm often there, just not serving sandwiches etc. People are always more than welcome to reach out via social media or text with any questions.

For some reason the business messenger has quite a few quirks.

I ALWAYS reply to all legitimate inquiries and messages so if I don't respond it's because I likely am not able to.

If this happens, you can do a couple of different things.

Text the shop at the # listed

Email [email protected]
And put CAKE in the subject line 🥰
