Our next monthly photography meetup is happening Saturday, July 25 at Grumpy Bean. We want to keep building this community and make this one even bigger than the last.
​Last month was great because so many people brought out physical prints and zines. Seeing what everyone shot over the last 30 days was the best part, so we really want to keep that going. Bring a stack of your recent prints or a zine to pass around, swap, and share.
​All photographers are welcome here. It doesn't matter if your focus is street, landscape, fashion, editorial, or documentary. Digital, film, an old rangefinder, instant, or just a cell phone. It all works.
​Come hang out, talk shop, and meet other locals. While you're looking through prints, you can grab a honey pistachio latte or a blueberry white mocha. See you on the 25th.

Hey Seattle photographers! Our next community meetup is officially locked in for June 20 at Grumpy Bean.

If you’re looking to connect with the local creative scene, this is the perfect spot to hang out, talk shop about digital or analog gear, and network with other local street, portrait, and lifestyle photographers. Whether you're shooting on a professional mirrorless setup, an old rangefinder, or just your phone, all skill levels are welcome.

We are highly encouraging everyone to bring physical prints and zines with them this time. Sharing tangible work makes it so much easier to look through, swap, and truly appreciate each other's photos, so definitely grab a stack of your latest shots before you head out!

It’s completely free to attend. While you're here, you can cool down with our new summer drinks. We're pouring up Matcha Mango Lemonade and Tajín Mango Lemonade, and they are both incredible.

Our friends at PCNW are bringing back Chase The Light for 2026!

Registration is now open for the 2026 summer fundraiser: Chase The Light! Join participants across the globe in 48 hours of image-making worldwide.

Make photographs with any type of camera between Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14. Every single participant who submits will have one photograph selected for inclusion in an in-person pop-up exhibition and print sale on June 20.

ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS WELCOME!

Come hang out with a slice of the photography community over a nice cup of coffee (or matcha or lemonade) at Grumpy Bean in Seattle.

I’ve been getting a few questions about how these work, so here is the deal: this is just a low-key hangout. We talk shop about gear and lenses, swap techniques, and chat about photography zines.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional with years of experience or just someone who likes taking photos on your phone: everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to meet people if you’re new to the city or just looking for a creative group to lean into.

The event is totally free to attend. Just show up and join in. Also, the team at Grumpy Bean has a new seasonal drink menu, so definitely ask about that when you’re grabbing your drink!

Can’t wait to see you all there.
