Several years ago, roasting coffee became the obsession of our founder. He was paying a fortune for specialty coffee that wasn't all that great. He was limited by their selection and couldn't vouch for the ethics of their sourcing. He wanted to establish relationships with the best farmers around the globe and roast the most complex, exceptional flavors with their help. He refined these notes over years of practice and engineering optimization. He continually shared his coffee breakthroughs with his coworkers at Meta. Ultimately, they were all brought together by the deep connection between the Software Engineering discipline and the love those engineers had for delicious coffee.
As we continue to refine our roasts to produce the most exceptional flavors known to man, we strive to bolster coding education in our community. We use 20% of every single sale to buy coding education and tech career resources for aspiring engineers.
