Deep Sleep 💤 | I sometimes have trouble sleeping and when I was younger, my mom always told me to drink a cup of warm herbal tea before bed. There’s been studies that suggests that lavender can improve our body’s melatonin levels, supporting a better night’s rest. Since I live in the Pacific Northwest where we have some of the best lavender farms in the United States, I really wanted to create a blend using our local organic lavender to highlight our local industry. I blended this lavender with organic high grade camomile, rose buds and other herbal ingredients that supports sleep and health, resulting in a smooth, floral, and super delicious herbal tea blend. Organic Simply Chai ☕️| This is a classic chai combination that tastes better than the chais you get at restaurants. We wanted to replicate those same flavors but make it taste even better. We used a traditional organic Assam based blend, with our own combination of traditional organic Indian spices, grounded up by hand. This really helps the infusion and get those spice notes that you smell on the nose, really dancing on your tongue. The difference between high quality, hand ground spices and store bought grounded spices is night and day. We think we created a really delicious chai and we can’t wait for you to try.

ORGANIC Rose English Breakfast Loose Leaf 🌹 | We really wanted a delicious morning brew that was balanced, strong, but yet had color and brightness to it. A lot of the blends that we’ve had in the past were all unbalanced … either too bitter from the tea blend or too fragrant from the artificial rose flavorings. Therefore, we went out and created our own unique English breakfast by mixing multiple different black teas to find the perfect balance of strength and complexity, while then adding some high grade organic Indian rose petals for some beautiful floral notes to layer on top of the darker notes of our tea blend. We provide samples for you all to try and can’t wait till you see the difference.

Organic Homemade Lavender Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea 🫖 - We developed our own unique black tea blend with 4 different types of organic loose leaf tea and blended it with 100% organic bergamot oil in house to create a delicious, high quality, earl grey tea. Most other blends use other forms of lower quality citrus oils but we want to make sure this is as good as it gets. Then we added a local organic high quality culinary lavender from Sequim, Washington to layer the sweet, floral notes on top of the citrus, tangy, smokey, and chocolate notes of our earl grey blend. Can’t wait for you all to try!

Happy Lunar New Year! Lunar New Year is celebrated by many Asian cultures in East and Southeast Asia. One of our 46tons founders is Taiwanese-American and he grew up celebrating the Lunar New Year with his family by feasting all night. Another popular tradition is gifting children red envelopes with money inside. The envelopes are red to symbolize happiness, good luck and prosperity and gifting the envelopes is meant to bestow blessings to the receivers. We wish everyone a happy year of the Tiger!

As promised, we are committed to helping our community grow and prosper. In our small, but first step, we have donated a portion of our Tea Kit sales to . Habitat for Humanity is a fantastic non-profit that helps people in the community build or improve a place they can call home. We started in Seattle where there is serious problem with a lack of affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity is helping build more affordable houses in the area to fight the growing issue in the PNW.

Not So Old Fashioned 🥃| We made it a challenge to concoct an old fashioned without the bourbon. We found that cold brewed barley tea can simulate the smoky notes and the slight bitterness that is often associated with bourbon. We then mixed in a new smoked tea syrup to add a bit of the oak barrel aged taste to the drink. We topped off the drink with a dash of bitters and an orange peel. Did you know that matcha/抹茶 means ground tea? The process of making matcha is quite fascinating. The tea plants are covered to prevent direct sunlight that directly affects their taste and color. They are then picked, steamed air dried and destemmed. Finally they’re ground using grinding stones into a fine powder that we consume, hence the name, ground tea.
