Very happy to have the work of on our walls! Jim is a Seattle artist and illustrator who has been doing impressionistic oil paintings of people, places, and things for decades. His paintings capture vibrant life scenes, conversations, and still life's. Jim's art will transport you to the beach, to a lively street with a jazz trio, into an intimate conversation among friends, or to a quiet moment looking out the window with a cup of coffee. Because of your kindness, enthusiasm, and need for coffee this last Friday, we were able to send a check for $740 to in St Paul, Minnesota. Until we reached out to them they didn't know we existed and are probably a little confused what is happening 😂. We wanted to do something to help people in Minnesota and found a coffee shop that we could see a little bit of ourselves in--they just don't serve the community, they SERVE the community. Making a product you care about and serving it with passion and kindness takes effort. Doing that while your state is under attack by masked ICE agents and trying your best to ensure the community has a safe space, clothes, food, diapers, and raising funds and protesting for immigrants rights is next level. Minnesota we're proud of you ❤️. Hope this little bit helps you keep doing what you're doing.

Thank you thank you thank you so much to everyone that came in today to participate in our day of giving to the people of the Twin Cities via the rad folks at . You filled our hearts with hope and lifted our spirits to keep doing what's right and fighting back against ICE and fascism. Today you all made a difference and we thank you from the bottom of our full hearts. (We'll announce the total amount raised on Monday or Tuesday this next week.)

We are completely gutted by what's happening in this country and the terror that's being intentionally inflicted on our immigrant friends and neighbors and our communities. We 100% support and stand in solidarity with the strike and the people of Minnesota. With that being said we wanted to do something to help the people of Minnesota that will be striking for a second consecutive Friday to protest the brutality they've been forced to endure. So we found a coffee shop in St Paul that is doing WORK in their community to make a difference and show compassion, strength, love, defiance, togetherness,and heart--showing up every day to serve people and acting as a mutual aid collection site and distribution center, safe space, and resistance catalyst. We will be donating Friday's sales to them--serving our community so they can keep serving theirs. They have no idea who we are or that we're doing this. I don't know if this is what we're supposed to do, but doing nothing feels terrible. If we don't see you we'll understand, but if we do see you, know that you're helping people keep helping people. Starting Wednesday January 28th we'll be hosting a weekly Knitter's Circle from 3-5pm. We'll serve coffee and drinks until 4pm but the craft magic will continue until 5pm ✨. All ages and abilities are welcome. Come hang and make some fiber friends in the neighborhood.

The rumors are true! Payton is moving to Gold Coast City in Australia. She's excited and sad and will miss you all. We're excited for her and sad and will miss her. Wishing Payton nothing but sunshine, perfect flat whites, and all the tasty waves she can handle. Oh and no giant spiders. Definitely none of those.

Continuing our monthly Crafty Hour tradition with a cookie decorating party. We'll have a ton of cookie decorating things--multiple frostings, sprinkles, googly eyes, icing, etc. Bring your own cookies or we'll have a selection of cookies here to decorate as well. We'll also be open for regular coffee service during the Crafty Hour, so our hours tomorrow will be from 8am-5pm, with the Crafty Hour going from 3pm-5pm. Hope to see you and your cookie monsters!
