If the wooden floors at Tenth West could talk, they'd spill the beans about all the candy I bought in that space as a kid when my grandparents lived up the street. This place was just like the other neighborhood markets that dotted the landscape before mega-stores changed the way we shopped. These days, the big draw at this small cafe on West Queen Anne is the ever-changing selection of hot dishes

, the made-from-scratch soups served alongside house-made Panini, and the selection of tasty sandwiches, all made with care by owner, Linda Hegg.
