On this final day of women’s history month we are going to shout out the women in our lives that keep this ship running smooth, running right and for the sheer amount of bad assery in who they are.
you are the number one I never knew we needed and now there’s no way I could imagine this business or life without you. You give it 💯 and take the bull s**t in stride.miles you’ve been rocking with me since middle school. You have been a part of every business we have and I couldn’t love you more or be more proud of your growth.
you are still an all star employee, even though the last six months have dealt you a cancer hand you never expected. Waiting for the day when you get back to mopping the floor with everyone at LS.
we have known each other for what feels like a lifetime. I’m so thankful for you and for how you’ve stepped up to make the coffee stand shine.

It’s women’s history month.
I’m starting by honoring me.
With radical self love and acceptance.
All women deserve to start with self, how else can we exist fully for others?
In a world trying to silence us and set us back, we are demanding a permanent place at the head of the table.
At the LockSpot I have that, the top roost.
A place where I can shine light, be love and receive love.
A place where I can push others to be their best selves and where they can challenge me to be mine.
Here’s to all the women mothering themselves. Showing up everyday and starting with self.
It’s the hardest thing we have to do.

I also make a damn good cinnamon roll and some fire ass banana pudding. Toot toot! 🎺

Who’s ready for a carnival to fundraiser for our girl ?
A big *UCK YOU to her stage 4 🫁 cancer and a celebration of her 25th birthday all wrapped into one. We’re just 6 days away from this event and we hope to see you all there.

Friends! We’re throwing a Cancer Carnival for our girl . February is her birthday month and as you know she is fighting stage 4 lung cancer caused by a specific aggressive genetic mutation. She’s 2 months into treatment and still very much struggling to regulate life with all the meds and painkillers she is on. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go straight to Alisha’s GoFundMe helping her stay alive and pay bills. This event is family friendly, there will be games, a DJ, flash tattoos, carnival fare, beer, cocktails and as much fun as you can handle! Please join us for an early evening of fun!

Throwing it back to the 2013 season SuperBowl. MetLife Stadium with my dad. A once in a lifetime experience. An epic victory and a time when life felt much simpler. I miss you dad, I’ll be tossing back some fireball and a chili dog at the for you. I know you’ve been watching all season and I can’t wait to watch this game with you! Go Hawks!

We didn’t snap a single photo tonight, inside or outside of the kitchen. But I couldn’t let the day end without shouting to the snow capped mountains of the Olympics that I LOVE OUR STAFF. Showing up, sacrificing self and be present for the family we choose is so powerful. They not only did it today, but they do it everyday. I’m so honored and humbled to lead a team of such beautiful humans. I love you all so much. We also served 150 meals tonight, I’m pretty damn proud of that too. I hope you all had the day you desired.

Tomorrow’s the last day to get yourself on the guaranteed holiday dinner list! No resys necessary if you’re coming in for fish and burgers. We love you and we’ll see you on Christmas Day! Open at 3pm.
Christmas Eve we’re open regular hours, 10am-Midnight
