Good friends lunch date.

Scott and I have been having dinner dates with Brian, Deb, Rhonda, and Jim.

Today, we had a surprise guest. I contacted Amy Szybala last week, and asked if she’d like to join us.

Her late husband, Frank, was the original owner of Village Pizzeria. We had a few laughs over some good memories today. Frank, Brian and Scott go way back, he was their high school teacher, the rest is history!

June/July, 46 years ago, they started to work on the pizzeria, opening in August, 1980. They owned other Village Pizzerias, but Sebewaing is the only one left!

And today was Brian and Deb’s anniversary!

We plan to keep this tradition going, we have new memories to make while we share the old ones.

If you haven’t seen some of your old friends for a while, what are you waiting for?!?

If you’re too hot today, and need a place to stay cool, the Sebewaing Library has cold waters, AC, and crafts for kids. Lots of stuff to do there!
