Today marks one year since we lost Ivy.

There are moments when it still doesn’t feel real. Sometimes it feels like it all happened yesterday, and other times the reality hits all over again—that she’s no longer here living the life she deserved.

We miss her more than words can express.

Ivy’s Delights was created in her memory, and every loaf baked, every sweet treat shared, and every smile at our stand carries a piece of her with it. Though time continues to move forward, grief doesn’t follow a timeline. The love we have for her remains just as strong, and so does the ache of missing her.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Ivy’s Delights and helped keep her memory alive. Your kindness has meant more than you’ll ever know.

Our very first Sourdough Sunday was a success!

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by, shared posts, supported Ivy’s Delights, and encouraged me throughout this whole process 🫶

This weekend was full of learning experiences, long hours, excitement, and a lot of emotions, but seeing people come out and support my little home bakery truly meant so much to me. I met neighbors and hope to start seeing them more. I’m incredibly thankful for every single purchase, message, comment, and kind word.

We still have some sourdough items and baked goods available, so the stand will be back open tomorrow morning at 8AM! 🍞

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported Ivy’s Delights so far. Today has honestly been a mix of excitement, stress, learning, mistakes, problem solving, and a whole lot of flour 😂

Preparing for my very first Sourdough Sunday has definitely been more challenging than I expected and there has been a HUGE learning curve behind the scenes. I made quite a few mistakes while preparing for today, and some things didn’t turn out exactly how I pictured them in my head. But every mistake taught me something, and I’m hopeful that each Sourdough Sunday after this one will be even smoother and more successful.

Even with all the ups and downs, I still have fresh sourdough bread and baked goods available like promised, and I’m incredibly thankful for everyone cheering me on while I figure this all out 🫶

It’s definitely been a roller coaster… but I’m still excited about the ride 💛

Super excited for Sourdough Sunday!

🍞 SOURDOUGH SUNDAYS IS ALMOST HERE

I’m officially in full prep mode over here and I’m SO excited 🫶🏾

Cookie dough is made, the starter is active and bubbly, and tomorrow I’ll start mixing all of the sourdough dough for the breads!

I added another shelf to the stand and also a drawer at the bottom to accommodate everything. We will see if everything fits🤞🏾

This has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and I’m so excited (and honestly a little nervous too!) to finally share with everyone.

This weekend’s menu includes:
🍞 Artisan sourdough loaves
🍞 English Muffins
🍞 Sandwich bread
🍞 Focaccia
🍪 Cookies
🧁 Muffins
🍫 Brownies & blondies

Everything is homemade in small batches with lots of love, so quantities will be limited.

Pickup will be Sunday from 12PM–8PM at 6850 Defoe Ave.
