We are starting something new over here at The Local Shop. A monthly 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 where we introduce you to the incredibly talented people behind the products you find at The Local Shop.

I can’t think of a better person to kick it off with than 𝗔𝗺𝘆.

Many of you know Amy as my Store Manager. She’s the one who keeps things moving, helps keep me organized, grounded and sane and is not only a huge part of The Local Shop, but our community.

What you may not know, is that Amy is also the creative mind and maker behind Solace Body.

Made by Amy, right here in our community, Solace Body has quickly become something really special on our shelves.

Over the next several weeks, we will introduce Amy a little more, share her story, dive deeper into her products and show you what makes Solace Hand and Body Cream so special.

When you shop small, there’s a person and a story behind what you’re bringing home.

❄️Winter Coat Drive❄️

The Local Shop has partnered with our friends: Inspire Free Clothing Ministry with Inspire Church to help make a difference this winter season.

Please join us in keeping our community warm. We are collecting gently used coats of all shapes and sizes - men’s, women’s and children’s.

You can drop off your donations 10/3-11/14/2026, Tuesday through Saturday between 9-6pm at:
