A Beautiful Evening for a Cause Close to Our Hearts!

My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Fostering Hope Gala, hosted by Fostering Together Gulf Coast, and what a beautiful evening it was!

Of course, we enjoyed getting dressed up, spending some much-needed quality time together, and simply enjoying a night out. But what made this evening so special was knowing the purpose behind it all. ❤️

You see, for us, this wasn’t just another charity event. This was PERSONAL!

Fostering Together Gulf Coast has been such an incredible blessing to our family throughout our fostering and adoption journey. Their love, generosity, encouragement, and support have meant more to us than words could ever express.

When you’ve been on the receiving end of someone’s kindness, you understand just how much of a difference an organization like this can make. So being able to attend an event that supports the very mission that has helped our own family was truly special.

And I certainly can’t forget to give a HUGE THANK YOU to my brother and sister-in-law, who so graciously cared for our sweet Kye while we enjoyed our evening! 🥰❤️ Knowing he was surrounded by love and in such good hands made our night even more enjoyable. We appreciate you both more than you know!

We laughed, we enjoyed ourselves, and we made some wonderful memories. But more than anything, we were reminded of just how blessed we are.

Sometimes God takes us down roads we never imagined traveling, but along those roads, He places people who help make the journey a little easier.

Fostering Together Gulf Coast has been one of those blessings for our family. ❤️

What a beautiful reminder that when God calls you to something, He doesn’t always make the journey easy, but He will place the right people along the way to help you through it. 🙌🏽

To everyone involved with Fostering Together Gulf Coast, THANK YOU for the difference you are making in the lives of children and families. Your work matters, your kindness matters, and the seeds of love you are planting will continue to grow for generations to come.

Because sometimes the greatest gift you can give a family is simply reminding them that they don’t have to walk their journey alone. ❤️

This morning, I was looking at my ferns and thinking about how much it has changed. The older leaves had started falling off, leaving some stems looking like nothing but sticks. But when I began to prune it, I soon noticed new leaves coming in. 🌿

It made me think about how God works in our lives. The pruning season can feel painful, and we may not understand what He’s doing. But even when things look bare, God can still bring forth new life.

I’m learning to thank Him for what was, embrace what is, and trust Him for what’s still to come.
What looks like an ending may be the beginning of a new season of growth. 💚🙌🏽
