Update!
Hey everyone! In case some of you don’t know, Hotel Seward was bought back in July by J&L Hospitality Management, LLC. It’s been an interesting transition to say the least but we are happy and finishing strong, serving lots of locals and returning customers during these last few days of the summer season. As for the future, we’ve been asked by a lot of adoring fans if we will be here during the winter months, and what next season will look like. To be honest we haven’t been included in any of the upcoming plans for the restaurant or hotel and have not yet received an offer to stay or come back. With that being said, we hope J&L will continue to serve both the community and those visiting Seward with high standards no matter what they decide to do. As for Elle and myself, we will be in search of a new home somewhere in Alaska. We have lived where we’ve worked for the last four years and are now ready to have a home of our own.
Thank you, everyone who has supported us these last two years. It’s been an amazing journey!
