They say that family isn’t always blood; it’s the people who stand beside you through the busiest shifts, the longest summers, and every challenge in between.
Today, our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to someone who truly defines the Highliner Family: our dear Melissa (Missy).
For five years, Melissa has been the steady heartbeat of this restaurant. We’ve watched her grow from those first days as a hostess and busser into the core of everything we do. Her smile has brightened our dining room, her jokes have kept us laughing during the rushes, and her spirit has shaped the very atmosphere of the Highliner.
Missy, we’ve always operated by the mantra: “We know what we know, and we don’t know what we don’t."
But here is one thing we know for certain: the Highliner won't feel the same without you. You are moving on to new horizons and exciting new approaches, and while we are sad to see you go, we are so incredibly proud of the person you are and the journey you’re on.
Please remember that the doors here are always open. No matter where life takes you, you will always have a home here, a seat at our table, and a family that misses you dearly.
Missy, thank you for five unforgettable years. We love you, we’ll miss you, and we can’t wait to see you stop by soon.
