My my my. Isn’t it a beautiful day at the fair?!

We are open and ready to go!

I love the fair. It’s one of my favorite times of the year. I would come every day growing up, and even when I was a “grown up”. (Am I one now?)

So it’s pretty appropriate that now I have yet another reason to be here all day, every day. 👏🏻

Come get an orchid vanilla magic snow cone before me and my staff eat it all!

Just goes to show you the kindness and support of our community and how we can learn from the experience of others!

What a fun thing it is to make this monster treat for the girl who has, along with her family, made thousands of these before me.

It feels kinda like making a dress for my favorite designer to wear…😬😅♥️

We are open tomorrow at the pool from 1-4, and then we will see everyone out on the Fourth downtown in our pink trailer across from Zabka-Purdue funeral home!!

It's finally here!!!!

The Snow Float Extreme: Your choice of flavored snow cone, topped with ice cream, whipped frosting, mini m&m's, nerds, nerd clusters, and sprinkles.

Yeah...we are pretty excited about this one.

If you don't want all the toppings, just have a snow float with your choice of flavored snow cone and ice cream.

Personally, it's a great way to cool off in this HEAT.

What a great weekend we had slinging snow cones at the Seward Softball tournament!

It was hot 🥵 but we were so happy to give a little sweet ice to everyone.

It was a great tournament. The concession stand food was top notch! Well done by everyone!

Behold! And we shall call it “The Adult Tasting Menu”!

Y’all. Just because we grow up, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy all the little pleasures we used to as kids.

I am not ashamed to say, I eat cold, leftover, frozen pizza for breakfast, and eat dessert whenever I want. Cotton candy everything is my favorite.

If you’re not happy and at peace with yourself, how can you be with anything else in life?

So enjoy the treats. Play with your kids at the pool. Wear the swimsuit. Take the risk.

And I’ll do what I can to help. 😉😎🫶🏻👊🏻

We are HIRING!!

We are looking for a few more enthusiastic team members to join Sweet E's.

What we are looking for:

1. Do you love serving people? Because people are our number 1 priority!

2. Do you love sweets and snow cones?? Because you're going to be around them A LOT.

3. Are you open to learning new things? We want to set you up for success for whatever you want to do in life.

Here are a few things you will be doing:

* Taking orders and handling payments in a fast-paced environment. We aim to keep wait times at a minimum as much as possible, so speed and accuracy are important.

* Crafting snow cones. You will learn to use the ice machine to create our snow cones, and learning "the best pour". :)

* Working trailer events. We will also have trailer events. If you are selected to help with a trailer event, you will be joining us on location and serving our customers.

* Crafting other sweet treats. We will be offering a few homemade treats and some shifts will be strictly preparing those treats for orders.

* Shift Cleaning and prep work. We take pride in keeping our space clean and organized. Every day. Every shift.

Hours:
Pool stand is open 12-4 daily.
Trailer events are as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
If you are 14, you must obtain permission from the school district and written permission from your parents.

Must have reliable transportation. No matter how you get to work, you are responsible for showing up to your shift. Team work is where it's at.

Must be able to work weekends.

Pay is $13.50/hour, with potential to earn more.

Hey everyone!

Now that I have a moment to breathe, (thanks electrical outage ;)) I thought I would introduce myself.

I’m Erin. The new owner of your local snow cone and sweet treats business, Sweet E’s.

I’ve lived my life in the restaurant business. Never quite leaving it, but my passion is everything SWEET!! Sugar runs in my veins.

I remember this sweet older couple at the county fair that used to serve us snow cones. Man, I would eat about 4 of those things per day.

So when the opportunity came up to purchase this, i jumped. I didn’t even know exactly what it was going to look like. But I did it anyway.

And here we are.

I love unique things. My favorite desserts to make are French desserts.

Some things to look forward to as this season gets rolling and we get our feet underneath us:

Sweet treats like the Oreo dipped Rice Krispie treats, homemade marshmallows, and more.

We are taking a bit different approach to concessions. We are after all, named SWEET for a reason.

Why? Because I am passionate about a craft. Homemade is just better. (Unless you’re referring to the knit sweater from yesteryear.)

I want to bring a smile to your face. I live for it. And sweets are my hug to the world.

So, stop on by the pool concession stand every day from 12-4 or catch us in our trailer. Or, have us come to your birthday party. These and more options coming soon.

For now, we are just hoping to make the best dang snow cones around and keep a little bit of the good ole days around and bring them to the future, too.
