The forecast for this weekend does not look great, but as always, we are looking forward to the Sunflower Festival! We are currently doing our “no rain” dance! 🤞🤞 When you are making plans this weekend, please consider dodging raindrops and still coming to support the local vendors and food trucks at this event. So much work has been put in from the organizers and vendors. Speaking from the food vender perspective, we have to shop for our supplies, smoke our meat and pull it, prepare our homemade items, and travel to the festival. That takes a lot of effort and team work to get that all done around our regular jobs. We don’t do it for a living like some, but it is a way to have the kids in our family learn dedication and hard work by seeing the business and getting treated to a long weekend trip for everyone to spend time together. We also love our customers and take pride in selling great products that people thoroughly enjoy so it is all worth it!

Don’t let the rain scare you away, make plans to come see us and see the talent of some of these craft vendors!

Our countdown has begun to one of our favorite events! The Mountain City Sunflower Festival is this SATURDAY, JULY 11th on the hill at Johnson County High School. This event has everything from crafts to music to fun for the kids. We will be there serving up the best BBQ in East TN! Make plans to come see us and spend some time in our wonderful community! 🐷❤️🌻

We are set up and ready to go at the park! The local VFW has set up events and things to do here, a parade at 4:30, and there will be fireworks tonight. We have our Oink'n Good BBQ Nachos, our Tennessee Spud, our famous BBQ sandwiches, and our smoked Bologna sammiches!! We are right behind the stage.

Hey y'all! Just poppin' in to let you know what we got goin' on this weekend.

We will be set up the Saturday, June 20th at Double C in Elizabethton from 11-2! 🤠

Then we will scooch on over to Erwin to Blue Ridge Taphouse from 4 to when we sell out! 🍺

We are gonna be plum wore out on Sunday, but this gives you two great opportunities to see us. Stop by for some boots or a brew and some of East Tennessee's best BBQ! ❤️🐷🐽

Uncle Him’s is excited to be at Evening Breeze arena in Elizabethton, TN for the rodeo!!! We will be slinging the best BBQ around, along with all of the other favorites, including our famous smoked bologna sandwich.
