One of the greatest gifts a community can give is friendship.

This weekend, several of Cheyenne’s friends came together to plan, organize, decorate, and host a beautiful baby shower as Cheyenne, Ian, and Bentley prepare to welcome the newest member of their family, our sweet granddaughter. Every detail reflected the love and care they poured into making the day special, and our family couldn’t be more grateful.

As parents and grandparents, there is something incredibly meaningful about watching your children find their people, friends who celebrate life’s joys, show up during important moments, and become part of your story. We love seeing the friendships Cheyenne has built here and the place she has found within our Shelby community.

At Press Coffee Lounge, we often talk about community, but this is what community looks like. It’s people showing up for one another. It’s friendships that grow from shared conversations and shared spaces. It’s celebrating milestones together and creating a sense of belonging.

To everyone who helped make this day so special for Cheyenne, thank you. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and friendship mean more than you know.

Our family is growing, our hearts are full, and we are so excited to meet our sweet granddaughter. 💕☕️

As we head into June, we’re kicking off a season of discovery, connection, and great drinks at Wine Collective & PRESS Coffee Lounge. Whether you’re joining us for weekly wine experiences, educational classes, coffee workshops, live music, curated tastings, or simply a relaxing afternoon with friends, there’s something on the calendar for you.

This month brings Rosé Week, Building Your Wine Cellar, Coffee Skills Series, Bottle & Board, Off the Beaten Glass, Tapas & Tastings, Bougie Pour Fridays, and much more.

We’re also excited to continue introducing Velvet Lounge, our newest space for intimate gatherings, special tastings, educational experiences, private events, and pop-up experiences.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. As a veteran-owned business, we are forever grateful for their service. We will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday. 🇺🇸

A few moments from our stop at Cocoa Cinnamon in Durham. ☕🌿

We picked up a couple of expertly brewed pour overs and a few bags of coffee to bring home. The coffee was incredibly clean, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared…the kind of cup that reminds you how impactful careful sourcing, roasting and skilled brewing can be.

We also loved the creativity and atmosphere of the space. Coffee shops like this continue to inspire us as we grow and evolve at Three Oaks Roasting Co. and Press Coffee Lounge.

If you’re exploring Durham’s coffee scene, this one is absolutely worth a visit.
