So excited about the community engagement coming together for 2026 Spring Festival at Harvick Farms 🌱💚

Thrilled to share what’s shaping up for May 9th at Harvick Farms:

🫀 Health Education
Kallie (Cox Monett) and Bai (MU Extension) will be sharing important information on stroke, STEMI (heart attack), and diabetes programs—real, life-saving knowledge for our community.
📋 Health & Benefit Support
Huge thanks to Kenlyn (MU Extension) and Jennifer Beeson (Mercy Hospital) to help attendees with health and benefit applications.

Hop On Board for an Easter Train Adventure in Shell K**b!

The Friends of Shell K**b are bringing the trains back to town — and this time, the Easter Bunny will be riding along! If you missed our magical Christmas train event, don’t worry… this is your chance to see the trains rolling again at our Easter hop-on the train celebration.
This free community event is packed with family fun, including an Easter egg hunt with six golden tickets amongst the eggs for an extra special surprise! Only 1 winning ticket per child. Along with crafts, cookies, and all of the trains on display and running. Kids can explore, create, and hunt for eggs while everyone enjoys the nostalgia and charm of the train exhibit. It’s the perfect way to celebrate spring in Shell K**b!
While you’re there, help us grow our new Shell K**b museum. If you have historical memorabilia, photographs, or special pieces of Shell K**b history tucked away at home, please consider donating or loaning them to Friends of Shell K**b so we can preserve our town’s story for future generations.

Exciting News for Our Town!

We are thrilled to share that a new historical museum is coming to our small town! While we’re not quite ready to open the doors just yet, we wanted to let the community know that something special is in the works.
This museum is being created with deep love for our town and its rich history, and we are especially excited to invite anyone who has items, photographs, stories, or artifacts connected to our local past to consider sharing them with us. Located in the original Field Plummer cabin at TimbeRoc Village on 39. This will be a place where memories are preserved, stories are told, and our town’s history can be experienced and celebrated by generations to come.
Right now, we are building anticipation and gathering pieces of the past as we prepare for our official launch. Sometime this spring. Confirmed date not yet set.
