Congratulations Contemporary American Theater Festival on your 36th season! And a big welcome from Alma Bea to all those who have worked to create these amazing shows and a fabulous season. We've heard great things from preview week and have even squeezed in a few shows ourselves--absolutely amazing!

We'll be running a special small plate "tapa-lachian" menu throughout the season to make it easy for you to stop by before or after your shows.

And we'll be offering a Friday brunch from 11am to 3:30 pm in addition to our Saturday and Sunday brunches.

It was such an honor to be at the James Beard Foundation award ceremony. While I didn't win Best Chef for the Southeast region, I am incredibly proud of the culinary achievement of my team, and so grateful for the support of so many. Thank you, Shepherdstown and Jefferson County, for making Alma Bea part of your community.

There is an Appalachian saying, "In the hearts of the Appalachians, every stream tells the story of resilience." I am so proud to honor and represent the generations of women who created such a wealth of recipes and food memories.
