SATURDAY IS BIG SANDWICH NIGHT!
We are doing a pop up collab! THIS Saturday in Hamilton at Lower Lake Brewery (14 Utica st.) 5pm - close.

The Sherburne Inn, and friend of the inn Chef Ryan Lee, will be showcasing 5 Specialty sandwiches. Our TWO best sellers will be added to our new menu coming out JULY 28th! We will also be rolling out our never-before-seen (until now) Molasses Slab Ice Cream Sandwich in collaboration with Gilligan's Restaurant 😍🤤 this ice cream sandwich will also be joining our menu all summer July 28th.

The World Cup will be playing & so will DJ Panch! No tickets needed just come on down!

July! 28th we will be releasing our new menu (we change our menu seasonally) & I’m always willing to take on more work if I really see the demand for it.

For the last year I’ve heard so many wonderful things about our bagels (yes we really do drive all the way to New Jersey to get them) but for every “real” New Yorker that walks through these doors at least 50% of them say “what??! You don’t got a Kaiser roll?!?” .. ok. Heard.

Today we are using La Nicosia’s Original Bronx Bread Co Kaiser roll recipe. I’ll give anything a try and if you want your BEC on a Kaiser I’m going to find a way to give it to ya 😂

Let’s talk about growth 🌱
When I (Gina) first started cheffing for the Inn I was terrified of omelets & so was my staff. I can make just about anything but an omelet ? It just wasn’t clicking. My omelets were coming out hysterically massive, the cook was weird, I was having to steam them- it was a mess.
So, I found a teacher. I brought in a chef friend of mine and we spent hours discussing omelet techniques. I learned about the proper way to build them, the right amount of butter for the pan, the right heat temp etc. I believe I made 46 omelets that day until I got it down.

Flash forward & this was the last omelet I made today (on average weekend I make about 60) and wow, isn’t she just perfect?

All this to say: Don’t be afraid to ask for help, it’s ok not to know things!! You’re capable of it all and then some- you will improve!! Just keep going ❤️
