Calico Cafe opened it's doors March 6, 1999 and has been serving some of the best food around ever since! Our one-of-a-kind breakfast menu features Double Yolked Eggs, Jumbo Sausage Links, Homemade Corned Beef Hash and even an 8 ounce Sausage Steak. Folks have claimed we serve "the best biscuits & gravy in Illinois!!" Our buttermilk biscuits are undoubtedly a staple and are an excellent choice with all of our egg selections. Check out our house made Belgian Waffles & Pancakes. Lunch is equally delicious including the Best Reuben Sandwich around, hand cut Pork Tenderloins and Chicken Fingers breaded to order. Fresh, hand pattied Burgers, Fantastic Chicken Sandwiches & plenty of Wraps to choose from as well. We feature a daily Lunch Special Menu for ONLY $7.99 and daily Soups and Comfort Food Specials as well. Last but definitely not least, is our Dessert menu! Try a slice of our house Pecan Pie or our delectable Buttermilk Biscuit Strawberry Shortcake, or any of our other Homemade Pies. Whether you belly up to the counter with the locals and sip on our freshly ground, locally roasted Papa Nicholas coffee, sit outside on the patio or pick up a carry out, Calico Cafe cuisine is sure to leave you coming back for more!!
