It’s shaping up to be a busy week at The Coop 🤎

Thursday is Bike Night at The Sherman’s Creek Inn- we will have Shay running The Coop from 5-8pm. JDs Cheesesteaks will be there with Dinner and Troegs will have some samples going on. Stop by and skip cooking dinner.

Saturday is our BIRTHDAY BASH!! I can’t believe it’s already here. Raffles, a ton of fun vendors and of course good food from SCI.

Happy Saturday!

It’s definitely a gloomy looking morning. We’re here to brighten things up a bit with a Coffee Coop Brew. Thankful the rain is on its way so we can see that beautiful sky again.

We have our summer menu rolling along for a few more weeks. Then it’s time to switch gears…I can hear the pumpkin spice whispering in my ear 🎃

Speaking of fall- in case you’re new to us, we make our holiday syrups in house. The pumpkin spice is homemade and a very popular item here at The Coop. I can’t wait to share the menu with you all. Until then let’s enjoy our s’mores and hush

One more week until our 1st Birthday Bash!

A big thank you to all of the raffle basket donations. These baskets are filled with great prizes! All funds raised will go to the Backpack Program hosted by Peoples Provisions. This program helps feed students in the WP district with fresh, local food.

This is something that has been on my heart for a while.

Beginning September 21st 5-7pm- we will be hosting a community meal. This meal will be Togo style. We will have your meal boxed up and passed out for you to enjoy at home, with your families.

This meal is meant to serve those in our community that are experiencing a food insecurity. If you are struggling financially right now and need a home cooked meal, stop out and fill up. Absolutely nobody should feel a struggle to feed themselves and/or their families. Please utilize this community meal and let us help make the burden a little lighter for you.

The community meal will be set up the third Monday of each month, starting in September. 5-7 PM.

If anyone wants to support this community meal there is a link set up to allow for donations. These funds will directly go towards supplies and food items for each home cooked meal.

If you know a family struggling right now, please share this with them. Printed copies will be placed at food banks in the area.

Good Morning!

I made this cappuccino in hopes of practicing a new latte art design. Well it was a flop, yet still kind of pretty in its own way? Not to get sentimental on everyone…but it made me chuckle because it seems to be the trend for the beginning of July. Massive storms, faulty generators, loss of sales etc. BUT, what has been beautiful is how our little community of Shermansdale has come together through it all. Kindness and support shows up when you least expect it. Which means a world of difference to a small business. I drove through this weekend to see full parking lots at our local food establishments. I know that was huge for them.

To my Coffee Coop community- thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to show up and show kindness in unbelievable ways. I appreciate every single one of you.

If your week was meant to look pretty but ended up being a flop- look for the good. It will show.
