I am overwhelmed by the many messages and all who reached out to wish me a happy day, and it really made my birthday extra special! Today, we celebrate not only a great boss, but someone who has been part of the Kwik Shoppe practically his whole life! 🎉
Nick has grown up alongside the business with his father, Nick Sr, who opened up the Kwik Shoppe doors 58 years ago. From working here as a teenager and then taking a hiatus to attend college, but still helping during the summers and college breaks, he has become a leader and mentor to so many employees who have learned from him over the years. In fact, Nick has many individuals who started as teenagers just like him who came back years later to say how much they enjoyed their “first job” experience and how many lessons were learned along the way! He has formed many friendships with these employees over the years and even served as best man in the wedding of one of those teenagers who grew to be a fine young man .. a high honor indeed to be asked and a testament to the kind of person Nick is!
Thank you, Nick, for making the workplace such a fun, easygoing, and welcoming place to be. Your sense of humor, positive attitude, and willingness to teach others have made a lasting impact on countless people lucky enough to work with you.
