We are a family of four (and one lucky dog!) who enjoys discovering the potential each day has to bring through forest hikes, dancing around the house to funky jams, or in eating a tasty meal. In our business, we aspire to make meaningful connections with the farmers that grow our coffee whenever possible and to engage with the importers who take the time to source and deliver us our beans day-to-day. Through our business, we seek to empower the lives of the people we have the pleasure of working with and also within the local community around us. Within our craft, we venture to be persistent at finding new bounds while being consistent at delivering upon those already discovered. Our coffee is the medium upon which we communicate with the world and it is through this voice that we invite our fellow travelers to breathe in and be present in the life you have.

I have been reminiscing all week about how much fun I had at the Kenosha Harbor Market last Saturday talking coffee (and so much more)! Thank you to those who stopped by to chat and learn more about our roasts, we truly enjoyed our first time out!

New Direct Trade beans are in and will be spinning hot in the roaster (Martha) very soon. While they are still green they will only remain so on a temporary basis. The line up as follows from left to right:

Good morning beautiful people! Our brew method of choice this morning is via Aeropress and Hario V60 pour over....what’s yours? This was shared by a friend and customer , what a great home coffee bar to extract the finest flavors! Seize the day. -Rufus

This grinder has become our new favorite piece in the roastery! Thank you Sonya Curtis (and mom) for such a unique and valuable item! What we are grinding today: El Greco Light from our 4.20 roast and might I add, it tastes da bomb!!
