Lola's Kitchen Lola's Kitchen is a pop up kitchen hosted by Roots in Sister Bay. Modern and Traditional Filipino Fare. Filipino Fare with a Family Flair. Doors open at 5pm.

The inspiration for the pop up is my Lola (Filipino for Grandmother). Lola's Kitchen is a pop-up kitchen at Roots in Sister Bay. Starting April 28th, 2025, Lola's Kitchen will be on Mondays and Tuesday from 5-8pm. The menu inspired by the cook's (Owen Alabado) grandmother. His Lola was a great cook and made all of her food with warmth and love. She never let you leave her house hungry. She accepte

d everyone in her home no matter who you were. Her spirit lives on within everything Owen does , including making Filipino Food for all of you. Come join us on Monday and Tuesdays at Roots. It is first come first serve. We will begin a waitlist once we are full. Hope to see you this season!

Lola's Kitchen is back this week! The last two weeks have been amazing. We appreciate you all walking through the doors and enjoying our food. We sure do enjoy your company as well. My Lola made everyone feel like they were family the minute you walked through the door. She would be happy to see you enjoying our culture and food.
