Good morning Slater Missouri. So this week we're having potato soup. Our special this week is a fried Amish bologna, egg, and cheese sandwich for $9. It's not the same ring bologna that I've been getting. This is Amish Lebanon Bologna which comes from the traditional Amish bologna out of Lebanon county Pennsylvania. It's a hickory smoked partially cured beef bologna and very different tasting than regular store bought bologna. Unfortunately we've had some holdups this morning so I haven't had a chance to do banana pudding this week so we will not have any banana pudding. Come give us a try just down the street from post office here in Slater Missouri. We're here 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Thursdays and Fridays.

Good morning Slater Missouri. It's another week at the Fat Man's Lunch Box. Our special this week is an Italian turkey wrap for $8. We take turkey breast, salami, greens, tomato, rice, garlic aioli, Brown mustard, provolone cheese, olive salad and roll it all up in a flour tortilla wrap. Our soup this week is chicken curry soup. We're here Wednesday Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. just down the street from the post office in Slater Missouri

It is Saturday and fat man's lunch box is open for the Fair and we are sponsoring our large pulled pork sandwich called this Little Piggy. This sandwich contains five different porks ranging from pulled pork, smoked sausage, ham, smoked pork belly, and bacon. It is topped with coleslaw baked beans and cheese. It's one heck of a sandwich. If this is too much for you we also have a smaller version called piggy piggy piggy. It has three different kinds of pork ranging from pulled pork, smoked sausage, and pork belly. If you're looking for something sweet come on in for a root b**r float a turtle Sunday or one of our famous shakes. If you ask me, my favorite for the fair is our loaded barbecue potatoes. They had pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans, cheese, and fried crispy onions on top other good helping a fried taters. Our soup for the week was the Brunswick stew and yes we do have this for the fair. All is missing is you so come on in and see us tonight. We're located down from the post office right next door to the library you will see us with our lights on around our canopy and our neon sign.

Fat Man's Lunch Box at the fair, of course we're here 8:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. today but we also have our Fair hours where we're offering a limited menu. We will be open Friday night 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and most of the day Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a fair menu.....,..... Lots of stuff on that menu. We have Brunswick stew made up special for the fair this week. Hot bowl of Brunswick stew seems like a perfect idea with the temperatures chilling off. We also have a sausage and kraut plate that comes with fried taters. The big news that we do every year at the fair is our this Little Piggy sandwich. Come see us at the fair.

Saturday we will be here from 11 am to 8 pm. I'm excited to announce that on that limited menu we will have our fair sandwich called This Little Piggy Porkocalypse. Because this little piggy has pulled pork, This Little Piggy has ham, This Little Piggy has smoked sausage, This Little Piggy has bacon and this little piggy went wee wee wee to get smoked pork belly. It will come on a 6 in sub roll topped off with baked beans, cheddar cheese, coleslaw, and french fry onions. The price will be $16.50 but let's be honest this isn't a pig sandwich, more like a hog sandwich. Along with being open all three nights at the fair, we will also be opened our regular hours , 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Thursday and Friday , inside the store for a full menu. We look forward to seeing you. We are located on Maple Street just down the street from post office.

If you are looking for something sweet to eat today,like Winnie the Pooh, then come on in to Fat Man's Lunch Box. This week's special is the sausage and kraut plat that come with fried taters for $10. Or you can get the sausage and kraut sandwich for $5. The soup of the week is Brunswick Stew. Top it off with something sweet, like the Banana nut pudding or a milkshake. If you want a sweet breakfast, try our stuffed French toast. Good morning, soup today is going to be vegetable beef. Our special this week is the grilled Italian sandwich for $8.50. For those of you haven't had that special yet it is ham and salami heated on grilled sourdough with cheddar and mozzarella, lettuce, olives, tomatoes, onions, mayonnaise, mustard and a balsamic drizzle.
