This is Annie’s first season as part of the Captain Scoops team, and we’re so excited to have her with us! Her favorite flavor is Birthday Cake. 🎂🍨

When she’s not at Scoops, Annie loves spending time with her family and friends. ❤️

Wow, you kept us scooping! 🍦

Thanks to an incredible July 4th weekend, we have officially sold out of every single scoop of ice cream.

We are currently awaiting a restock. We will be fully stocked with all your favorite flavors on Wednesday, July 8th.

In the meantime, the Mitchell’s Gas Dock has prepackaged Hershey Ice Cream.

🎆 ONE WEEK UNTIL FIREWORKS AT MITCHELL’S MARINA! 🇺🇸

The biggest night of our summer season is almost here! Join us Thursday, July 2nd as we kick off the 250th Independence Day Weekend with an incredible fireworks show over Smith Mountain Lake!

✨ Event Details:
📅 Thursday, July 2
🕖 Fireworks begin after dark (event runs 7:00–11:00 PM)
🚤 Watch from your boat on Smith Mountain Lake or bring a chair and enjoy the show from the marina!

🍦 Captain Scoop will both be OPEN UNTIL AFTER THE FIREWORKS so you can enjoy ice cream before, during, and after the show!

⚠️ Please plan ahead! Parking is extremely limited and may require up to a ¾-mile walk to the marina. Arriving early is highly recommended.

Tag your fireworks crew and we’ll see you next Thursday! 🇺🇸🎇❤️
