We have something important to share with you — and you deserve to hear it directly from us. 🍪❤️

After 5 and a half incredible years of serving this community from our Smyrna shop — our storefront is pending a sale. We are looking at August 2nd as our final day of service at the shop.

This has not been an easy decision. The past 2 years have been genuinely difficult. The economy has taken a real toll on small businesses — sales have slowed while the cost of everything has continued to rise. We tried every adjustment we could. We reduced our hours. We pushed catering. We gave everything we had. But we have reached a point where we cannot continue to operate the store and remain financially sustainable.

Here is what we want you to know though.

We did not start with a store.

Eleven years ago Not As Famous Cookie Co. launched with a food truck. Just a truck. A 40-year family recipe passed down from our father. And a belief that something scratch-made and real could find its people in this city.

That truck built this brand. It earned our biggest clients. It took us from unknown to serving Delta Air Lines, the Atlanta Braves, Coca-Cola, Tyler Perry Studios, and hundreds of events across Atlanta. It made us who we are.

And when we looked honestly at how to keep this business going — the answer was clear. We are going back to our roots.

Not As Famous Cookie Co. will be transitioning back to the food truck model — with a focus on private catering events, pickup and drop-off catering orders, and very select public events. The same scratch-made cookies. The same 40-year family recipe. The same love in every single batch. Just the model that started it all and made us successful in the first place.

To every one of you who has walked through our Smyrna shop doors over the past 5 and a half years — from the bottom of our hearts — THANK YOU. You have been our motivation every single weekend. You are the reason we kept going. And you will always be the reason we push forward.

Come see us before August 2nd. Let us serve you one last time from this space.
