Our hearts are broken with the passing of my parents Andres Gomez Alayon and Nelia Lopez del Valle. They were the best people you could ever meet. Loving, caring and kind to all they came across. They will be will be missed but never forgotten. They leave a beautiful legacy behind.

Our next chef to highlight is Chef Andre Gomez! Andre was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, Andre brings his pan Latin flavors and hospitality to the table every day. He attained bachelor's degrees in hospitality administration from Lynn University and culinary management from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. After meeting his wife Ashley. He started working at Canoe with Chris Hall and later moved on to work at Nava for the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group. His next stop was working as Executive Chef for the acclaimed Kevin Rathbun, who he looks up to as a mentor. Andre was able to gain the experience that fortified his lifelong dream of being a business owner. Andre opened his restaurant Porch Light Latin Kitchen in 2015, which was named one of Atlanta Magazine's best 75 restaurants. We are lucky to have Andre again helping at Sanse Atlanta 2022!
