Thank you to the 450 women that applied to the Women on the Water fishing trips!🤯

We wish we could accept every single one of you, but for those of you who did not receive an acceptance email, here are a few ways you can build your skills and community of female fly anglers:

🐟We host Ladies Barflies nights about once a month in Anchorage and Valley throughout the winter. Keep an eye on our socials for more info.

🐟Lakeview Outfitters in Cooper Landing is offering additional women's fishing trips and free fly tying events. (https://lakeviewoutfitters.com)

🐟 Womens Flyfishing and FisheWear offer trips and classes in Alaska and beyond! We also partner with them to host a fly tying skills course with them every spring.

Some of the Kenai Peninsula TU Chapter folks headed to the saltwater with Big Butt Charters, and had an epic day!

A 2027 combo trip from Big Butt Charters is the top prize in our current raffle, which supports our kid's camp, research projects, and other chapter programs. Second prize is a full day trip on the Kenai with Lakeview Outfitters, and third prize a $500 gift certificate from Trustworthy Hardware and Fishing.

We'll be selling tickets at Walmart in Kenai on June 13th, July 11th, August 8th, and September 12th, from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Otherwise, look for our board members around town and be sure to buy a ticket or three.

Join us this Saturday as we take care of one of our favorite rivers. Float from Sportsman’s Landing to Jim’s Landing or clean up in road accessible spots. All are welcome.

⏰ Suggested Start Time: 9:00–11:00 AM. We’ll be distributing bags and gloves at Sportsman’s Landing.
