Absolutely obsessed with how this enchanted forest fairy-door cake turned out. 🍄✨
Beneath the woodland magic is a 6-inch dark chocolate cake layered with thick gooey cookie dough filling and finished with rich triple chocolate buttercream.
This design pushed me well outside my comfort zone—in the best way. I learned how to make edible cake moss, handcrafted chocolate mushrooms, and realistic chocolate tree bark, all to bring this little forest scene to life.
One of my favorite parts of cake design is being handed complete creative freedom and seeing where inspiration takes me. This one felt less like a cake and more like a tiny storybook world.
Quite possibly my favorite creation to date.
And perhaps that’s because the sweetest cakes aren’t defined by what’s inside them, but by who they’re made for.
