I am proud to announce that Northend Grill will be bringing James House on board as a partner on this journey. Jim House is a long time friend (fellow rugby player) and owner operator of Pork Island BBQ. You can expect some exciting additions to our menu as we move forward!!!

Very proud dad moment. Natalie’s first day working at Brown’s with Jim Brown and Melissa Brown. Got my start with Jim and Dave Brown in 1988. Make sure you get over to Browns this summer and say hi to Natalie!!!

There would have never been a Northend Beach Grill without Mr. Oves. Back in 1984 he gave me my first job and put a crazy idea in my head. Become a school teacher and flip eggs and burgers all summer. Ever since Mr. Oves has been a mentor and dear friend. There was never a rivalry, in fact he countlessly bailed me out when i forgot to place food orders correctly. The Oves tradition lives on in his sons and grandchildren. I will be forever grateful. A true legend!!!

Thomas Oves, the founder of the popular Ocean City Boardwalk eatery and bike rental business, Oves Restaurant, died on Saturday at age 87.
